Job Summary
An important part of the finance team in this rapidly growing company. The role will provide general admin support to the Finance Team. Helping to ensure financial records are updated in an accurate and timely manner. Training to carry out the role will, where necessary, be provided. This is therefore an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Check the coding of purchase invoices, match to purchase orders and send for approval
- Check Purchase Orders have been correctly raised, coded, and approved before orders are placed
- Where necessary chase purchase order, invoice and payment approvals
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Help to prepare the weekly payment run and send to the Managing Director for approval.
- Monitor stock levels by entering receipts and issues onto a spreadsheet or bespoke stock system
- Answer stock queries and provide information and reports as required
- Carry out other duties as required to support the Finance Team and wider business
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Enthusiastic with a desire to learn
- Accounts experience is advantageous but not required
Education and Qualification
- Full clean UK Driving Licence & own transportation due to rural location
- No formal qualifications required
Full time, office based in Albourne West Sussex
