Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time band 6 registered nurseto join a team of Specialist Screening Practitioners (SSPs) to deliver a high quality, effective and forward thinking and expanding screening service.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of care to the screening population identified by the screening programme across multiple sites in Nottinghamshire.

You will also get the opportunity to be actively involved in the screening centre health promotion strategy to improve patient outcomes for our local population.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required to maintain and develop relationships within a wide range of internal and external contacts.

The successful applicant will be expected to complete the Screening Practitioner's course at Liverpool John Moore's University within the first 12 months of coming into post - This is a mandatory requirement for the role and includes a residential element.
