Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Test Specialist at IBM, your technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create, and your recommendations and findings will help us make sure we're delivering the best of the best.

Come work in an agile environment where you will help each iteration reach the next level.

Whether the testing is manual, automated, or cognitive, you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to our clients and IBM alike.

In your role you may be responsible for:

Building automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Protractor, Katalon, Cucumber, etc.
Create test data and test environments
Write and execute test scripts under the direction of a senior tester and test lead and identify errors and validate successes for any software solution
Do a deepdive and present test results to clients and project teams clearly

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Must have:
Experience of writing test automation scripts using Selenium. Model office testing, experience in performing end to end testing and UAT testing, business testing.

Understands testing requirements, builds optimized test scenarios, develops automation to execute test along with test data and environment related automation, executes automated testing and achieves test outcome.

Has understanding to all the contemporary technology trends: Agile, DevOps, Containers and has the ability to integrate testing automation into overall delivery automation.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

ISTQB certification

A4Q - Selenium certification
