Like Us (NE) Ltd, situated in the bustling heart of Tees Valley, is excited to announce a new opening for a Marketing & Events Coordinator.

This pivotal role is designed for a creative and dynamic individual passionate about crafting impactful marketing content and coordinating memorable events.

£23,400 per annum

Contract Type: Fixed-term until 31 March 2025


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, vendor management, logistics, and onsite coordination.
  • Analyse market trends and customer feedback to recommend improvements to marketing strategies and event planning.
  • Create content both video and copy for social media.
  • Oversee the budget for marketing and events, ensuring optimal use of resources for maximum impact.

Job Specification:


Required Skills and Experience:


  • Proven experience in marketing, events planning, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing marketing strategies and event concepts.
  • Competency in digital marketing techniques and social media management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with marketing software and tools.
  • Willingness to contribute to the team and jump in whenever needed.

Qualifications:


  • A qualification or relevant experience in Marketing, Events Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in marketing or events management are advantageous.
