An exciting opportunity has arisen asThe Brompton Centre for Fetal Cardiologyteam are now looking for a very highly experienced Children's Cardiac Nurse to join our existing team.

The successful nurse will work with the team based at Royal Brompton Hospital site but delivering support and expert knowledge in specialist antenatal clinics at Queen Charlotte' Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and St.

Georges Hospital, as well as at our network clinics.

You will be responsible for maintaining your own caseload and provide on-going support to your group of patients.

Your role will involve liaising with local teams, specialist midwifes and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless service for families.

Join Fetal cardiologist in clinic at time of diagnosis and counseling

Provide counselling on diagnosis, interventions, follow up, red flags, life long care and follow up.

Follow up with parents and patients and provide ongoing support

Refer to appropriate teams when required, sign post concerns, escalate when necessary

Liaise with local teams to optimize patient care, experience and support

Transfer care to pediatric teams taking over patient care ensuring comprehensive information is shared

Ensure patient safety at all times
