Here at Willing Care, we are seeking a Health Care Assistant for one of our very established clients._


About the service:


This Nursing Home offers first class care to Older Adults, who require Nursing and Personal care, in a luxurious environment.

The Home is surrounded by beautiful, landscaped gardens, residents are also able enjoy a range of facilities, from a well-stocked library to a beauty salon and sunny conservatory.

Duties and Responsibilities of a Health Care Assistant:

  • Providing personal care such as toileting, washing and dressing
  • Providing emotional and mental health support
  • Keeping residents comfortable and assisting with manual handling
  • Observing and monitoring the wellbeing of patients, ensuring any changes are reported and documented accordingly
  • Updating care plans

Requirements for the Health Care Assistant role:

  • Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care is desirable but not necessary
  • Previous care experience is desirable

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Winchester, Hampshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Healthcare Assistant: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care (preferred)
