Description
Our client in Blackburn is looking to recruit a Bench Joiner for work based out of their workshop and distribution site


The work will involve:


  • Operating Saws, Planers and Cutter Moulding Machines
  • Supporting the senior Wood Machinist
  • Working to Manufacture a variety of street furniture
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working area

The working times and pay:


  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:0017:00
  • 40 hours per week after breaks
  • 2 x 15 mins breaks and a 30 min break each day
  • Starting rate of £10.50 p/h negotiable dependant on skills and experience

Skills/Experience Needed:


  • A willingness to learn new skills and machines where required
  • Previous experience in a wood machinist or bench joiner role would be preferred but training can be provided with the right experience

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm


Salary:
£10.50-£12.50 per hour

Experience:

Bench Joinery: 1 year (required)
Wood Machinist: 1 year (preferred)

  • Saws and Planer: 1 year (preferred)
