Internal Auditor

LOCATION:
Bristol

SALARY:
£36,000 - £39,500**
DURATION:Permanent

HOURS: 37

Essential requirements:

Part or fully qualified CCAB qualification or IIA/AAT or equivalent with significant experience of auditing or accountancy.
Experience of accounting and auditing practices, policies and standards and how they are relevant to governmental procedure.
Awareness of standards set by CIPFA and other relevant bodies as well as ability to follow the standards that have been set.
Operational experience and ability to innovate processes effectively and make a positive contribution to the needs of local authority and it's service.
Access to vehicle and ability to travel independently.
Ability to assist in linemanagement and supervision.

Desirable requirements

Knowledge and experience from working within a Local Authority.
