Food & Beverage*:

North**
Location:
4 days per week in the car, 1 day per week in your remote home office.

Region:

Primarily the M62 corridor from Manchester to York/Hull.

Some visits to North-East up to Darlington, Teesside and County Durham.

Job Profile Summary:

Your role will be supporting key accounts with our specialized cleaning chemicals and hygiene equipment.

The focus is on
food & Beverage processing factories, (including poultry farms), for: meat processing, finished meals and snacks, as well as spices, sauces and dips, confectionery, cereals, pasta and baked goods, canned beans and veg, plus breweries, juices and soft-drinks etc.

You will offer technical advice for our customers' in-situ cleaning, so that they can get the most out of our products.

By creating a close relationship with the customers, you will also ensure the continued cooperation, and also seek further areas in which we can support them.

This is a sales-oriented role, but it is heavily based on customer support and technical consulting.

You will also be working with colleagues to ensure key customer requirements are understood and matched with the services provided by Diversey.

The clear goal is satisfied customers and sales growth.

Responsibilities:

Manage the relationships within assigned accounts, focusing on the customer service appropriate for that particular business.
Technical service and support to end user customers
Customer's staff training
Manage specific sites belonging to national account groups, striving to meet the appropriate "Service Level Agreement" set at group level.
Manage independent and Regional customers.
Visit customer's sites, including occasional night and weekend work.
Utilise the "Value Selling" approach to grow profitable business by benefitting the customer with added value, and thereby maintain longterm customer relationships.
The identification and development of new business to maximise profitable growth opportunities, particularly through organic growth with existing customers.

Required Qualifications

5+ years experience in food processing, preferably in multiple factories/sites/food types.
Experience with Cleaning in Place.
Driving license
Willingness to visit 24 customers per day, 4 days per week.
Once every couple of weeks, there could be a customer visit in the evening or nighttime to match with their CIP schedule.
Either a degree or diploma in food technology or strong certification in Food Safety.

Preferred Qualification

Sales or other customer experience is an advantage, but is also something we can teach you.
