Job Title:
Legal Secretary (Clinical Negligence)


Duties:


  • Audio Typing/Organise and maintain legal files and documents
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a legal secretary or similar role
  • Proficient in using legal software, such as case management systems and document management software
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
