Retford, DN22 0TF & Immingham DN40 3LU (travel between the two locations required)


Pay Rate:
£19.68 per hour


Role Overview:

The Business Support Team Member will provide business administration across various departments and projects with the client's gas powerplant.

The tasks delivered by the team include, but are not limited to; development and implementation of the people plan, event planning and management, document management and control, communication strategy and implementation, third party landowner engagement, SAP processing support.

  • Supporting the delivery of maintenance strategy

  • Financial & business administration
  • Assistance to the Exec & Senior Leadership Teams
  • Event Management

Qualifications and Experience:


  • A relevant professional qualification NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or substantial experience in business administration
  • An understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and quality standards
  • IOSH Managing Safely minimum
  • Personal time management skills with ability to dynamically assess, review and act upon changing priorities, achieved whilst maintaining a reasonable personal workload.
  • Proficient administration skills calendar management, minute and note taking, action allocation & tracking
  • Strong planning and organising skills creating plans and overviews, organising audits, visits and monitoring progress
  • Confidence to challenge established practices, suggesting imaginative solutions to problems
  • Interpersonal skills influencing and working with others, including internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to deliver the role whilst demonstrating flexibility, initiative and high levels of selfmotivation and enthusiasm, but has no requirement to work out of hours or weekends
  • Willingness and ability to learn and grow
  • Ability to work with detail when required
  • Completer able to deliver reliably
  • Financial and commercial awareness associated with the activities of the role, contract management awareness preferable
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Management System (MMS) raising purchase orders, recording receipt of goods and services.
  • Receptive to change and understand the need for continuous improvement.
