Description

We have partnered with the purchasing function of a very large marine services company to deliver the search for two Buyers.

You will work on in-house and customer shipbuilding projects, purchasing complex and heavy capital equipment from suppliers in Europe.

As a Senior Buyer you will work with the engineering team to finalise the specification, then identify and build relationships with suppliers, prepare tenders, negotiate, draft and manage procurement contracts, then maintain oversight of expediting and logistics.

Those who already have or are working towards their CIPS qualifications will have a distinct advantage.

Additionally, our client has a strong personal development and training culture, so those with only a few years relevant post graduate experience are also encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have the existing right to live and work in the UK.
