Maintenance Assistant

Dordon

Hours - 12 hour shifts including days and nights

Starting salary £22k + Benefits

We currently have a position for a maintenance assistant to work in a large maintenance department within a large automated assembly factory.

The factory contains high speed highly automated machinery.

This is an ideal position for someone with engineering qualifications who want their first step towards being a maintenance engineer.

The role will include:

First line fixing on machinery
Basic fault finding
Fault rectification
Opportunity to learn about machinery and maintenance
Occasional working alongside engineers on major breakdowns
Keeping Technical areas tidy
Cleaning Technical areas and machinery.

Additional training will be given to stand out employees to progress further in maintenance.
