Applications are invited for a locum consultant to cover maternity leave at Bolton Hospital NHS Trust. The post attracts generalist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, with an opportunity to develop a variety of special interests.


The on call duties will include working on a 1: 8 resident on-call weekday and 1:18 non-resident weekend rota.


Bolton NHS Foundation Trust provide services across the North western part of the Greater Manchester area ranging from hospital services in Bolton to community services across Bolton, Salford, Ashton, Leigh and Wigan.

We have recently been given a CQC rating of Good.


The Family Care Division aims to deliver the highest standards of care in maternity, sexual health, gynaecology and a range of acute and community children's services.

We deliver over 6,400 babies and carry around 1,500 gynaecological procedures each year.

The Trust also has a tertiary level Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, enabling 1 in 4 women across Greater Manchester to receive in-utero transfer and birth at extreme premature gestation at Bolton.
