Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced part qualified Accountant with proven financial analysis, FP&A skills to join a lovely growing business based in the Horsham, West Sussex area.

The Accountant - Financial Analyst will be part of the Finance teamand keen to work for a business who is growing, has excellent attention to detail and accuracy.


Salary:
£40-45K


Location:
Horsham, West Sussex. Office based Mon-Thurs. Fridays from home.


Hours: 9-5


Accountant - FP&A duties include:


  • Analyst tasks such as; annual Budget process and review, as well as ongoing monthly forecasting
  • Analytical review of the Group businesses on a monthly basis, focussing on margins and logistics KPIs
  • Developing and analysing other operational metrics and KPIs across the different companies
  • Sales reconciliations, reconciling between online source payment gateways back to the Accounting system.
  • Processing purchase invoices and preparing the monthly payment run for suppliers.
  • Preparing and issuing Statements of Account for customers.
  • Following up on any account queries
  • Fixed asset reporting and preparation of month end balance sheet reconciliations
  • Liaising with the Sales and Operations departments as necessary.
  • Preparation of month end management accounts
  • Update and maintaining cash flow
  • Assistance with inventory planning, stock turn and inventory ageing analysis

Skills and experience required:


  • Experience working in an Accounting role with proven financial analysis and accounts exp
  • Part qualified CIMA, ACCA or AAT preferable
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Experience with online accounting packages such as; Xero & QuickBooks
