We are looking for Relief Duty Senor Support Workers to join our team - the Joint Community Rehabilitation Service

This role is instrumental to us being able to provide a high quality, effective service to our clients. The Duty Senior Support Worker is the first point of contact for our clients, Support Workers and other professionals.

You will be expected to triage referrals and arrange admissions into our service, deal with queries, and provide a comprehensive handover to the rest of the team.

For this role you will need:

Good communication skills
Good problem solving skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Strong ICT Skills
The ability to balance and prioritise a range of different responsibilities

The Joint Community Rehabilitation Service (JCR) is a community service provided by a team of care workers, therapists and nurses.

It is a partnership between East Sussex County Council's Adult Social Care and East Sussex Healthcare Trust.

The aim of our service is to help people remain in their own homes and stay independent by providing them with a time-limited intensive community rehabilitation programme in their own home.

The role may involve some shift and weekend working but is predominately weekdays between 9-5.

This role is in the Joint Community Rehabilitation (JCR) team, a partnership between East Sussex County Council and East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.

It helps people to:
- remain in their own home and maximise their independence
- avoid going into hospital unnecessarily
- become independent as soon as possible after a stay in hospital

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
