We are looking for a engaged, humble and modern leader to join the Content Domain technology organisation to take over the responsibility for the German local development team.

The team currently help support the local German market with IT capabilities and projects related to the content domains responsibility (e.g. Content systems for editors to manage German product content, as well as evolving existing capabilities).


Its an exciting opportunity where your main focus for the beginning will be managing systems used mainly by the German market but over time you will also be involved in work related to TUI common platforms.


Technology Team Lead is a key role within in the domain and you will be responsible for leading one cross-functional development team and responsible for the teams output and committed scope/timelines.

You need to be a modern leader with a coaching mindset, that brings out the best in your team foster a healthy culture and failsafe environment where your team can grow as individual's.


ABOUT THE JOB:

In your role as a Technology Team Lead;

  • So you are responsible to deliver the end2end IT solution considering all relevant tasks, the architecture and technology perspective as well as operations.
  • Our teams believe in "you build it you own it" so you will also be responsible for the operations and that we meet the agreed SLAs for all services that the team is owning and developing. Work towards stable operations.
  • Another key responsibility is to the people you support, ensuring that they are growing within their area of expertise, feeling engaged and supported, acquiring new skills, doing valuable work, and working well together.
  • You will focus on creating a culture of; Trust, phycological safety, engagement, technical excellence, innovation, learning and continuous improvement.
  • Helping your team to be more selforganized, and to keep increasing its capabilities and autonomy.
  • A key task will be to protect the team from "disruptions" and give them the prerequisites and focus needed to deliver at speed.
  • As a TTL much focus will be on delivering output and being aware of all relevant performance KPI's, as well as growing your team to high performance.
  • But you are also expected to support, challenge, and guide your team to provide technology solutions that result in the best possible digital experiences for our customers, within given time and budget.
  • With focus on being a servant leader and enabler for your tea; helping to develop and maintain delivery plans, timescales, resource requirements, key deliverables/milestones, risks and progress. And transparently communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • You will excel at identifying, deescalating, and resolving conflicts within and between teams.
  • You will most likely tackle multiple initiatives/challenges simultaneously and work closely with the Product Owner and with a varied set of stakeholders in various situations every day.
  • You will together with the PO make sure you have a good view of the roadmap and how your team/Services on high level contribute for the upcoming 36 months.
  • You will take responsibility for expansion and further development of agility maturity within your area and the domain.
  • You will need to have an awareness of a range of technologies along with the ability to understand architecture and design of digital systems to effectively lead and support your team.
  • You will be working closely with the other Technology Team Leads and the Head of Technology to share knowledge, improve collaboration and evolve the domain.
  • In collaboration with the Head of Technology, you will also plan and manage costs of your team and services and proactively look for efficiencies and motivate your team to achieve the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) agreed for your team and the strategic results for the Content Domain as a whole.
