We are looking for a Paediatric Dietitian for a one year contract to cover a maternity leave.We have an incredible team of Paediatric Dietitians and Assistant Practitioners, working in a dynamic, integrated Family Care Division.
The Family Care Division aims to deliver the highest standards of care in maternity, sexual health, gynaecology and a range of acute and community children's services.
The Trust also has a tertiary level Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, enabling 1 in 4 women across Greater Manchester to receive in-utero transfer and birth at extreme premature gestation at Bolton.
We deliver an integrated service across acute and community settings.Your role will involve providing dietetic support to a specialist caseload of children and young people with a variety of dietetic and medical conditions, specifically inputting to the acute site and community.
You will be required to help line manage and supervise our Band 4 Assistant Practitioner, deliver training to other health care professionals on nutrition and dietetic issues, and support the training of dietetic students.
You will need to be flexible in your working pattern to meet the needs of the client group who are seen in a variety of settings such as The Royal Bolton Hospital, Outpatients, GP surgeries, Health Centres, Startwell Centres, Schools and their homes.
We are looking for someone who is a car driver as you will be required to travel around the borough.
