The role

We currently have a great opportunity to join our growing team as a Security Officer at our client site in Stanford Le Hope, Essex.

Role requirements:

Must hold a valid SIA Frontline Licence

5 year checkable work/career history. All applicants will be vetted in line with industry standard BS7858.

Must have full UK drivers licence and car for commute.


Duties include:

• Be a highly visible and proactive security presence
• Logging lorries in and out, opening and closing of gates.
• Carry out all required duties as specified in the assignment instructions for the site
• Ensure safety of customers and all staff
• Conduct regular Health & Safety patrols, report and escalate any issues found
• Meet and greet staff and visitors and be the first point of contact for any issues
• Ensure a positive customer experience for all visitors/customers
• Ensure all exit and evacuation points are kept clear at all times

Desirable skills/experience:

• Excellent communication skills
• Operate with a high level of professionalism
• First class approach to delivering a customer focused service
• Effective report writing skills, for logging incidents in daily occurrence books
• First aid certificate
• H&S qualifications
• Intermediate level PC Skills (MS Office)

£9.60-£10.00 per hour

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability
