Perfect Household Staff is actively searching for an energetic and personable full time housekeeper to join a private residence in the picturesque area of Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire (WD3).

This bustling household comprises 3 adults, 2 children, and 8 well-behaved dogs.

The family are very active and are searching for a housekeeper who will "get stuck in" with the housekeeping duties in their friendly and informal home.


The ideal housekeeper will be responsible for the overall cleaning of the 5-bedroom home, a separate gym area, kitchen, dining area, and 3 guest rooms.

It is important to understand that this is a very busy family home but not a "show home".


Duties will encompass daily and deep cleaning of the household, ensuring it is always tidy and presentable, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining all areas of the house.

The full-time housekeeper will also manage wardrobe, handle laundry and ironing, organise cupboards, and ensure that the home is consistently well-presented and cared for.

Main duties of the Full Time Housekeeper:

  • Ensuring house is clean and tidy
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Making beds and changing linen
  • Putting rubbish out for collection
  • Keeping all property areas clean and orginised
  • Keeping cupboards, wardrobes and drawers tidy and well ordered
  • Vacuuming, mopping floors and surfaces
  • Wardrobe organization
  • Packing/Unpacking
  • Pet care: walking the dogs, feeding, cleaning pets' area, dog sitting
  • Working with high level of integrity and trustworthiness

Requirements for this Full Time Housekeeper job:

  • Three years of housekeeping experience
  • Excellent checkable references
  • UK working permit
