Fixed term Contract from 1st September 2023 to 31st August 2025| 37 hours per week | £38,383 to £39,637 per annum (Soulbury Trainee Educational Psychologist Grade | Norwich


This is a full-time Local Authority post and the expectation of the Local Authority is that post holders will make a commitment to be available to work within Norfolk Educational Psychology and Specialist Support, for 130 days within each of the two employment years.

For the period of employment, the University will be deemed to be the approved employee base for those days when appointees are not in Norfolk.


Over the period of the post holder's second and third year of doctoral training they will be a member of the team of professionals in Norfolk's Educational Psychology and Specialist Support team, undertaking work within the authority whilst meeting university requirements.

Additionally, upon qualifying, the post holder will be encouraged to be an Educational Psychologist member of the Norfolk Educational Psychology team


Educational Psychology and Specialist Support is a multi-disciplinary team and provides a broad range of professional consultation, assessment, intervention, training, development and preventative work, and meets the requirements of universities for Trainee Educational Psychologists.

The team has excellent and well valued relationships with schools and other partners.
