Operations Manager, Poole, £45,000

The purpose of this role
As Operations Manager you will oversee daily working of warehouse operations whilst
planning and coordinating logistics and warehouse activities.

As Operations Manager you'll be responsible for:

Managing
warehouse operations whilst overseeing distribution, warehousing, badging and shipping

-
Liaising with internal and external suppliers, stakeholders, providers and customers to plan, manage and evaluate logistics

Resolving any logistics issues whilst
negotiating costs and contracts with providers
Ensuring
efficient and effective operations by communicating regularly with colleagues and staff, including scheduling and reviewing workloads

Achieving productivity targets by managing data collection for updating of metrics

Monitoring delivery time, costs, quality and quantity
Ensuring
the highest level of customer service as well as managing third party logistics to ensure competitive costs

Skills & Experience

Proven management skills
Experience of working in warehousing, distribution or manufacturing environment, and good understanding of the supply chain
Strong planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
