St Philip's CE (Aided) Primary School is looking to appoint a full-time, permanent, Level 2 Teaching Assistant to start in September 2023.

With a recent Ofsted judgement of 'Good', a new to the school but experienced Headteacher and an ambitious School Development Plan, we are all set to embark on an adventure in learning and flourishing together.

We are a growing, urban primary school close to the centre of Cambridge with a diverse and dynamic local community.

We seek a talented, proactive and skilled Teaching Assistant to support learning within a class and with individual children in 1-2-1 learning.

• Level 2 Qualification or equivalent relevant experience
• A therapeutic approach to behaviour management with a calm, kind but firm approach to ensure children are safe and learn to build their own internal discipline
• Motivation, enthusiasm and a passion for learning
• Flexibility and resilience to work independently with a child, tailoring learning opportunities to meet the individual needs of the child
• A collaborative, professional and team approach to working in a school setting
• An ability to relate to parents, staff and other professionals in a respectful and clear manner
• Willingness to learn through continuing professional development
