Hours:Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5pm and Fridays 8:30am - 4pm

We have a great new opportunity for an experienced Purchaser, Buyer or Purchasing Professional ideally with CIPS either completing, studying or working towards it to join a well established international company in the Newhaven area who manufacture bothHardware and Software within the Electronics Sector.

As a Purchaser your role will include:

Arranging quotations from both existing and new suppliers
Monitoring computer systems to ensure all stock and delivery levels are kept at the appropriate number
Notifying different departments ensuring the shipment dates and receipts are linked to the correct materials
Preparing, reviewing and editing Purchase Order numbers
Corresponding with suppliers with quotes to maintain contact with vendors regarding the current status of the purchase orders
Using Excel, Database and Word Processing such as Microsoft

Ideally you'll have a CIPS qualification or equivalent and have a great interest in the role.

This is a full time, permanent position working in the office Monday to Friday between the hours 8:30am to 5pm with a salary of £33,000 to £40,000 dependant on experience.
