Description

We are looking for a Therapy Assistant to join West Kent's Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team (CNRT) in a full-time position.

CNRT in West Kent provides a specialist high quality comprehensive therapy service to patients with neurological impairment.

This includes assessment, advice and treatment of patients presenting with neurological impairments such as Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Huntington's Disease and Head Injury.

Our team is moving towards 7 day working so some weekend duties may be required on a rota basis.


Your base will be The Coxheath Clinic, Maidstone, but you may be required to sometimes provide support across the West Kent patch.


Your key role will be to support all the team's clinicians in the delivery of therapy against agreed goals to a small caseload of patients.


You will form a vital part of the Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team (CNRT) supporting all our clinicians (Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Dietitians) in the delivery of therapy against agreed goals - often in patients' homes, but also within our group treatment programmes, where you will be supervised by a qualified therapist.

Due to the mobile nature of this role you will need a driving licence with access to a car.


Additional Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30 and some weekend working may be required e.g. 1 in 3
