Description

NCG require someone to protect staff, students, visitors and the estate and assets of Newcastle College at all times against theft or criminal damage.

To ensure that all the regulations and procedures implemented by Newcastle College, affecting the safety and security of staff, students, visitors and the estate are adhered to.


To protect, so far as is reasonably possible, the buildings of the College and the contents within from damage by fire, water or from the effects of any adverse conditions.


To ensure, so far as is reasonably possible, that no unauthorised persons or vehicles gain access to the College estate.


To ensure that all visitors are courteously received, assisted and directed in a manner which will reflect to the College's corporate image and to record such details as may be required.


To maintain the safekeeping of keys and to issue Newcastle College keys only to authorised persons and to keep and maintain a key register.


_Only Security staff are permitted access to key safes._


To record all occurrences of interest for the information of Security staff, management and other interested persons, within the scope of the General Data Protection Regulations.

Essential criteria needed for the Post are as follows;

  • Driving Licence
First Aid
