NJC Pay Scale, Band 3, Points 6-11 £21, £24,054.00 per annum

Actual Salary £18,811.60 per annum

Term Time only, 39 weeks per year

36.25 hours per week (between 8 am and 4 pm Monday - Friday)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administration Assistant/Receptionist to join our hard-working, successful, and forward-thinking team.


Manor Academy is a Special Educational Needs school with a Provision of pupils aged 11-18 based in Sale, Greater Manchester.

We have an exceptional record of success with our pupils and maintain very high standards.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have good numeracy and literacy skills, spoken and written
  • Experience working in a customer service role
  • Have a caring, positive, and flexible attitude
  • Have the interpersonal skills needed to foster positive relationships with children, other staff members, parents, and other agencies;
  • Hold high expectations of themselves and others
  • Have a strong commitment to teamwork
  • Be able to use initiative
  • Be able to demonstrate high levels of empathy and understanding for children who have experienced difficult times
Previous experience working in a school environment is desirable but not essential.
