Description
Work within Patient Services and/or Administration supporting Hospital
Services including Out-Patients and Operating Theatre sessions (where
applicable). Providing relief to Reception where necessary.

Liaising with other Patient Services Staff, Clinical Staff involved with Clinics and Operating Theatre sessions, General Practitioners, patients and public, all Wards/Departments, Contact Centre, Clinical Coders

Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm.


I am seeking a motivated and enthusiastic addition to the Patient Services team to assist in the efficient and accurate processing of WPAS information and hospital appointment booking.

You will be required to process referrals from receipt through to appointment booking using the partial booking WPAS function and adhering to waiting list guidelines and Health Records procedures.


You will be patient focused with good communication and telephone skills, able to work under own initiative as well as within a small team.

The main duties of this post will be to cover all reception duties and to be the first point of focal contact for patients and visitors entering the hospital.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
