Due to the expansion plans for the food operation, Court Barn is pleased to open an opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join the catering team:
To assist the Chef Manager to prepare and serve fresh food to the members of Court Barn.

To be willing to be trained to create great food.

To work with the Chef Manager to create menus that entice members to dine in the Club on a regular basis including for evening events.

To grow the food business from a stable regular following by members, through innovation and culinary creativity.

Opportunity to grow and, in time, deputise for the Chef Manager and take on tasks such as ordering, food safety and management of the service team.

The recently refurbished kitchen is spacious and equipped with the very best equipment.

Typical opening hours for the team : Monday - Saturday Lunch, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening events (not every week), Occasional Sunday Lunches, Weddings, Wakes and Private Events.

Capability up to 60 covers.

Full induction, support and encouragement for the right person from an experienced friendly management team. Regular praise for a job well done from the members. This role will recieve a share of the tips.
