Description

Metalis are currently supporting a subcontract CNC machining company who are looking to add an EDM Wire Machinist to their team.

You will be working on Mitsubishi control systems.

This is a Days regular shift operating on the pattern below:

_Monday - Thursday__ am until 4.00pm

Friday am until 3.00pm - Friday
- **Role Outlined**:You will be working on a Mitsubishi controlled EDM Wire PSO Machine

Daily Duties:

Machining a wide variety of precision components for all industries, including tooling, aerospace, and Oil & Gas
The role will involve setting and operating the EDM machines
You will be involved with small batch work and medium runs
You will be using all material types including harder metals/alloys
Basic inspection duties will be required

Skills Required:

Experience working on EDM Wire machines.
Apprentice trained engineer would be desirable.
Mitsubishi control experience would be advantageous.
Experienced in other areas of a machine shop milling and turning would be advantageous but not essential.
The use of verniers and measuring equipment is desired
