Applications are invited for the post of Apprentice Assistant Practitioner Radiographers.

We are looking for forward thinking and enthusiastic Apprentice Assistant Practitioner Radiographers who want to join our existing team of dedicated Radiographers and Assistant Practitioner Radiographers.


We are a friendly and pro-active team that strives towards excellent standards of practice to provide the best patient-centered care, meeting Mid Yorkshire Hospitals Trust Values.

This is initially a fixed term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship with milestones set. An expectation from the prospect apprentice of enthusiasm, commitment and pro-activeness is essential.


Applicants must be eligible and willing to undertake a Level 5 Foundation Degree Apprenticeship and hold English and Maths GCSE grade C equivalent or above, together with evidence of successful study at advanced level or equivalent relevant experience as accepted by relevant University.


There is an eligibility criteria for government funded apprenticeships which requires the applicant to be aged 16+, be a resident in the UK/EU for the last three years.

Applicants cannot have achieved a qualification at level 5 or above
in the same pathway as this will exempt them from being able to undertake the apprenticeship.
