Business Support Role for PacTec EPS

Location:
Westlake's Science Park Whitehaven CA24 3JZ

An exciting opportunity to contribute to an established and growing company. Do you have strong business administration and customer service skills and a great work ethic.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to help with the organisation and running of the daily business operations of the company.


Responsibilities

  • Office administrative support, including but not limited to, marketing efforts, sales, proactive customer service, market intelligence, and attendance at customer and offsite events as needed.
  • Must have a positive personality to liaise with customers on a daily basis in a friendly manner.
  • Manage communications in a timely manner, internally and with customers.
  • Respond to client inquiries as needed (Delete this as the same as above ?)
  • Data entry
- tracking customer service requests and following through to completion

  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and attention to detail using the CRM system and other MS Office systems.
  • Maintain database programs (CRM)
  • Schedule and plan meetings and arrange travel requirements
  • Respond to office related and customer service issues in a timely manner
  • Manage and welcome visitors to the PacTec office and at events

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as an administrative manager, or other relevant administrative role
  • Experience in sales support including but not limited to, providing quotations, tender and contract administration, order processing, and customer engagement.
  • Strong organisational skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Selfdirected initiative
  • Engaging personality with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in MS office, and preferred knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM's
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Proven experience of office management procedures
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problemsolving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to step into other roles when needed and carry out any duties to support the business operations

Job Type: 30 hours per week - Flexible working hours under a self-employed Contract.


The role will be based at our office in the attractive surroundings of Westlake's Science Park Whitehaven with free parking.

Flexibility to travel to meetings and events will be required.

Pay:
£20.00-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (required)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 5 years (preferred)

  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Moor Row, CA24 3JZ (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Moor Row, CA24 3JZ: Relocate before starting work (required)
