Job Title:
IT Support Engineer - Renewable Energy


Location:
Nottingham, England


Salary:
£30,000 - £40,000


We are a recruitment agency looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a leading Renewable Energy company in Nottingham.


Roles and responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and advice to customers
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems
  • Install and configure software and hardware
  • Establishing and maintaining user accounts
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems
  • Provide remote and onsite support
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licences
  • Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system

Technical Skills Required:


  • Familiarity with networking technologies, such as DHCP, DNS, VPN, VLAN
  • Experience with Windows and Mac OS
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex IT problems
  • Working knowledge of software and hardware
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
