Exciting opportunity to work from home in a 6 month contract as Systems Administrator with experience in Windows 2016 and 2019 and VMware skills.

You organisation you will be working for is well known for how well they treat their employees, with a friendly and inviting environment within the work place.

The role requires active SC clearance.

The job purpose will be to manage the IT systems for internal IT as well as an external managed service.


Your duties will be to:

  • Server infrastructure configuration, security and maintenance.
  • Software configuration, updates and management
  • Security assessment and vulnerability mitigation of hardware and software estate.
  • Provide 2nd level technical support for a live service.

Essential Skills:

  • Active Directory and ADFS administration
  • Exchange Administration
  • VMware vCentre
  • Good understanding of networking concepts
  • At least 4 years of experience of Windows server 2016/2019 administration
  • Experience of using and maintaining SIEM system
  • Experience of configuring syslog
  • Experience of enabling auditing in windows server environment
  • Required to be oncall from 7a.m. to 7p.m. (on a rota basis)
