Vacancy for Senior Leadership Support Student Placement

Here at Newcastle Building Society we are currently seeking bright and ambitious new talent to help us achieve our ambitions and have an exciting opportunity to join us this September in our Newcastle Strategic Solutions business.
Oh and by the way we also don't just pay a training allowance you will join us on a 'real living wage' salary, we believe our colleagues deserve a fair day's pay for a hard day's work.
You will provide the Newcastle Strategic Solutions Managing Director and Senior Leadership team with administrative support, ensuring that meetings are co-ordinated and effective.
You will also support with colleague communications and engagement activity, helping the Communications and Engagement Specialist with the implementation of the Newcastle Strategic Solutions communication and engagement strategy.
This will be a great opportunity to work alongside the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team, gathering experience across a wide range of initiatives.
You will have the chance to understand and influence the colleague communication and engagement strategy and support with improvements to how colleagues feel about working at Newcastle Strategic Solutions.
You will gain extensive exposure working alongside various teams from across the business.
With the support of your manager and mentor, you will have objectives to work towards to make sure you are developing during your time with us.

About You
- You will need to have successfully completed the second year of your studies and intend to return to University to complete your final year at the end of your placement. We are interested in all specialisms however you should have a desire to work in business and financial services.
- Confidence to communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders via different methods of communication
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- An ability to work both independently and within a team
- Willingness to commit to your own development
