We are recruiting a Business Administrator to co-ordinate our growing day-to-day administration operations, with an emphasis on HR administration including recruitment.

This crucial role forms the backbone of our well-respected health research organisation.

About NIHR BioResource:
Our mission is to facilitate human health research and its transformation into medical practice.


NIHR BioResource is a unique and powerful resource for studying disease mechanisms and for investigating the links between genes, the environment, health and disease, enabling scientific discoveries as well as facilitating translational medicine for the benefit of patients.


About the job:


The Business Administrator will help to ensure the smooth running of our day-to-day administration including human resources, recruitment, induction, health & safety, and facilities management.

You will also provide some support to the finance and procurement sections of our business team.


You will develop and maintain office procedures, arrange interviews and inductions, process annual leave requests and sickness absences, and play a pivotal role in handling enquiries from colleagues as well as advising our managers and staff on administrative matters.


About you:

Ideally you will:
- have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- possess good administration experience
- ideally have knowledge and/or experience in HR and recruitment administration, and an interest in progressing within this field
- relish working both independently and as part of a small team.
