About the Role:


Base Location:
Perth or Glasgow


Salary:
circa £72,500 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

This is a forward-looking role that will support the operational development and expansion of an ambitious business team by developing new finance processes to support the expansion of the business into new activities and markets.


Team Leadership


Effectively and efficiently lead and support a team of Senior Accountants and Finance Analysts in a highly diverse, complex, problem-solving environment.


Process & Performance Improvement


Lead within the finance team to work with Operational and Commercial business teams to identify and implement finance process improvements and to design new finance processes in support of growing business activities.


Business Analysis & Insight


Provide a broad range of detailed and insightful business analysis to influence and enable decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.


Budgeting & Forecasting


Lead on the preparation of the annual EPM budget and quarterly forecasts which covers Opex and Capex, liaising with Operational, Commercial and support leads and providing financial insight and analysis.


Control and Compliance
Monitor adherence to finance policies and procedures. Assume control owner responsibilities for Financial internal controls agreed with the Financial Controller.


What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have/hold:

  • A fully qualified accountancy qualification with 5+ years PQ experience and within a Business Partner / Finance Manager / Management Accountant business-interfacing role with experience of solving business issues of similar scale and complexity.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills and a proven track record of leading within finance teams.
  • Proven ability in interpreting and assimilating data from multiple sources, including external market data, and the ability to render it into meaningful insight making appropriate recommendations.
  • The ability to manage multiple complex projects/processes simultaneously with an operational and commercially focused mindset.
