Who we are:


A City Centre firm of accountants have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee/Apprentice Tax Administrator to join their tax department on a full time basis, 36.5 hours per week 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3pm Friday.


What you will be doing:

Working closely with the tax team in a mixed role of all areas of taxation.

As part of our team, you will be supporting clients to meet their tax compliance obligations including (but not exclusively):

  • Liaising with clients for information requests.
  • Preparation of individual tax returns.
  • Ensuring clients meet their tax compliance requirements.
  • Provide support to senior members of staff.
  • General administration duties.
  • Assisting with tax planning for clients.
  • CIS returns.
  • PAYE
  • VAT returns.
  • Liaising with HMRC.
  • Provide assistance to clients with all areas of taxation.
  • Update Iris software
Opportunity to study for professional exams with study support while obtaining practical experience within the role.


Required Skills and Qualifications
5 GCSEs at a minimum grade 5 including Maths and English.

Ability to work within a team

Friendly and helpful with a can-do work ethic

Flexible and able to prioritise a changing work list


What We Offer
20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Full study support while training for professional exams including 30 days study leave per year.
