This could be the opportunity you are looking for. Reed Accountancy are working exclusively with a family owned Gosport based logistics company to recruit a Management Accountant.

Salary £27000 to £34000 per annum + excellent benefits.

As a part-qualified accountant (either CIMA or ACCA), working as the Management Accountant will typically involve preparing monthly management accounts, reconciling the profit and loss (P&L) statement and balance sheet, assisting in the production of statutoryaccounts, and helping to create budgets and forecasts.

The responsibilities would be as follow:

Monthly Management Accounts preparation: This would include tasks such as gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing journal entries, and creating financial reports such as income statements and balance sheets.
P&L and balance sheet reconciliations: This would involve reviewing and reconciling financial statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring that all transactions are recorded correctly.
Assist in statutory accounts production: This would include working alongside the financial controller to prepare statutory accounts in accordance with accounting standards, regulations, and laws.
Budget and forecasting: This would involve working with management to create and maintain financial budgets and forecasts for the company, and using this information to inform business decisions.

This role will be supported by the financial controller and a study package will be offered for professional development.
