Description

Our client, based in Northamptonshire, are currently seeking a contractor to support the delivery of SAP into their business.

The role details include:


  • To lead operational workstream teams to support the delivery of project initiatives
  • Liaise with appropriate Workstream Leads and support functions to establish detailed operational requirements
  • Establish and maintain detailed implementation plans, ensuring plans are aligned with the overall schedule and escalate risks and delays as appropriate
  • Establish timescales and resource necessary to deliver the planned operational implementation activities
  • Conduct regular detailed operational implementation plan reviews with the appropriate Project / Workstream Leads and ensure any changes to not impact the projects key objectives
  • Establish appropriate circulation methods for plans and updates, from an overall project and stakeholder perspective, ensuring all related documents have a single point of management and are version controlled
  • Ensure timely escalation any potential issues and risks to the Project Manager
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor the change process
  • Integral part of the operational design and development process, ensuring detailed specifications are aligned with the operational requirements
  • Coordinate (with the workstream leads) the operational testing phases of the delivery, ensuring appropriate acceptance and signoff levels are met
  • Ensure there is a structured and thorough testing schedule, scripts and signoffs process in place to ensure successful management of technical 'bugs' and ontime implementation
  • Liaise with the L&D team to ensure the appropriate levels of training are planned and delivered
  • Input into the cutover process and timings
  • Facilitate collaborative walkthrough and DILO sessions ensures operational engagement and buyin while driving the solution to a fully understood conclusion
  • Strong Warehouse Management Systems experience
  • Have strong planning and change management experience Project Management qualification is preferable
  • Experience of working on E2E projects and initiatives with multiple stakeholders, in a dynamic, fastpaced environment
  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools for both large and smallscale change efforts
  • Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio
