Are you a dedicated accounting talent looking for an exciting career move? Aston Workshop Ltd are a global leader in heritage Aston Martin restoration and sales and are seeking an experienced and highly motivated financial assistant to join our accounts team.

This is an exciting and very rare opportunity to join a prestigious company renowned globally for its Aston Martin restorations, sales, servicing and engineering.

Based in the picturesque Beamish countryside and employing over 40 staff to create our beautiful cars, the Aston Workshop facilities are a dynamic and prestigious place to work with all manner of luxury, classic and exotic cars on site.

From humble beginnings over 30 years ago Aston Workshop has enjoyed sustained growth into a modern 45,000 sq ft facility internationally renowned for its award winning engineering and restorations.

We have a significant online presence and a loyal enthusiast following.

Well hidden in the Beamish countryside Aston Workshop is a business whose reputation has grown by word of mouth and has become an outstanding example of north east ingenuity in a global marketplace.

Roles and responsibilities
Administering weekly and monthly payroll for a team of circa 40 employees

Administration of employee sickness and annual leave (app based)

Liaison with workshop controllers on employee time sheet analysis and verification (training provided)

General book keeping, purchase & sales ledger

Financial PA tasks to the managing director

CRM system input and analysis (training provided)

Assist with aspects of periodic financial reporting at the request of senior management team

Person Specification
High levels of motivation with the ability to self manage workload and complete tasks without direct supervision in a timely fashion

Experience
Minimum of 3 years relevant post qualification experience and employment in a similar role

Salary
Salary is negotiable dependant on experience and skills. Please contact us for a confidential discussion.

Working hours are Monday-Friday (Alternative starting hours may be available by negotiation)

From £23,920.00 per year
