Due to a healthy pipeline of ongoing projects we are seeking a conscientious
Maintenance Operative to join our
Customer Care Team.
Core Role and Responsibilities will include:
- Organising attendance by specialist subcontractors such as MEP engineers and assisting to provide temporary protection, builders work and making good measures.
- Undertaking building openingup works and inspections to assist with identification of probable causes for building defects.
- Liaison with homeowners, tenants and building occupants to agree suitable appointments for maintenance works.
- Ensuring maintenance works are completed to a high standard and temporary protection and cleanup operations have been applied to the building occupant's satisfaction.
- Close liaison with Cocksedge's Customer Care Manager to provide materials orders, progress reports and defects/maintenance works completion trackers in a timely manner.
- Min 2 years' experience in a similar role with a general, maintenance or housing contractor.
- Ability to organise your workload across a number of locations.
- A polite and friendly attitude and collaborative approach when working within occupied properties.
- A full UK driving licence.
- An enhanced DBS check will be completed as required for maintenance works in schools, colleges and care homes etc.
