Irthlingborough, on a full time, permanent basis.

As our National Account Executive,
you will
support our Commercial Team, aiding in the delivery of budgeted sales and commercial gross margin (CGM) as well as manage a portfolio of your own accounts.

What you will be doing as our National Account Executive?- Support the creation of an annual account/channel business plan working with the commercial management team.

  • Collate and analyse data including analysis of performance in the customer using market data and shopper trends
  • Build relationships with customer buying functions and external admin support demonstrating your customer management skills
  • Build relationships internally across all functions including commercial finance, marketing and demand planning to achieve commercial targets set
  • Maintaining the key account reports
  • Manage the daytoday administration of designated customer portfolio
  • Assist in report production and presentations and maybe even make a few


This role will give your career the chance to operate cross functionally to gain a breadth of exposure to all functions.

This is a real opportunity for development and we expect you to be challenging for a NAM role within 18 months.

Our ideal National Account Executive will be:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Have experience in working with FMCG customers, preferably with one of the Top 6 grocers
  • Able to demonstrate basic commercial awareness, understanding of P&L, and experience of working with data
  • An entrepreneurial self starter with a focus on results and the customer
  • Systems wise we would want you to be fully conversant with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. For Excel, we would want advanced Excel to include Vlook up, pivot tables, and designing macros.


This role requires someone who is highly analytical, able to interpret complex data and make it meaningful, as well as organised and a good communicator.

We would expect you to be a self-starter with a strong sense of drive and purpose.
