The part-time position Marketing Coordinator - Course Information (Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences) is an excellent opportunity to join Lancaster University's marketing team.

This new role is dedicated to supporting student recruitment marketing in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), specifically in the area of course information.

FASS has a large portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that are taught by the Faculty's nine departments.

You will be responsible ensuring that information about courses that is held on the University's website and on external platforms is high quality, up-to-date, engaging and accurate.


You will be a skilled copy writer, with demonstrable experience of crafting compelling marketing copy for a range of audiences.

A high level of attention to detail is required for tasks such as copy editing and fact checking.

You will be familiar with legislation such as the Competitions and Markets Authority (CMA) and committed to upholding regulatory requirements.

You will be confident in using IT systems and have a systematic approach to organising your work. Your day-to-day work will include liaising with academic departments and working with student content creators.

You will also source and edit images, coordinate photo and video shoots, and gather and edit testimonials from staff, students and graduates.

This is offered as a 0.6fte indefinite role, and you will work closely with another part time staff member in the same role.

The role is hybrid with both on-campus and home working. Flexibility around hours and working arrangements will be considered.
