Job Introduction
An opportunity is available for a Craftsperson (Jointing) based in Redruth depot and covering the area.


In this role you will be required to undertake Jointing techniques up to 33kV, including excavation, cable laying, reinstatement and fault location on LV cables.


Evidence of your qualifications will be required prior to appointment.


If you are offered a position, you will be required to successfully complete a basic DBS check that shows any unspent convictions or conditional cautions.

The successful applicant will ideally have underground experience.

Consideration will be given to applicants who do not possess all the skills required to undertake the role at present but have the confidence and ability to reach the necessary standards with appropriate training.


You must be able to work on your own initiative as part of a small team, making on the spot decisions as required and working to tight deadlines.

A flexible attitude is essential, as you will be required to undertake other duties to assist the team in meeting its objectives.

In addition, you will need to be mobile throughout the area as you may be required to undertake standby duties.


Interviews will most likely take place on the 27 September 2023 for those who are shortlisted.
