WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Infrastructure, travel, transportation, cities and logistics form a significant and very dynamic part of the global economy.

Massive amounts of public and private capital are flowing into physical infrastructure upgrades as well as sweeping changes driven by digitization and the climate transition.

Very significant public and private entities exist in this space with bold ambitions over the coming decade. These topics also have far-reaching effects in areas such as climate resilience, holistic liveability, sustainable mobility and equality.


To better serve our clients in these spaces, we are creating a new dedicated industry practice area - Travel, Cities & Infrastructure Practice Area (TCI PA).

This practice will not only serve specific clients in these spaces (e.g., Construction, Real Estate, Shipping/Logistics, Airports, Airlines, Rail, Road, Leisure Travel), but will also collaborate closely with our Public Sector practice and Infrastructure Investors sector.

We believe that creating this practice area is another step forward in living our purpose - unlocking the potential of those who advance the world.

As a Practice Area Coordinator (PAC) within the TCI (PA) you will execute and coordinate business operational support for PA tasks both regionally and globally.

Working with the Practice Area Leadership, you will coordinate PA operational activities such as meeting organization, budgets / business reporting and marketing and communication efforts.

You will also coordinate people affiliation and development activities as well as the organization and execution of internal practice meetings and trainings whilst acting as a point of contact for PA members across the PA.


You will independently coordinate the plan and preparation of PA meetings, seeking guidance as needed, from invitation management through to agenda coordination, tracking and logístical support as well as expense and budget management.

You will prepare newsletters and maintain proposals microsite.

You will regularly maintain dashboards and carry out financial reporting and as well as managing PA case openings, interviews, vignettes, proposals and credential collections.


YOU'RE GOOD AT:


  • Executing defined tasks independently, seeking guidance as needed
  • Thinking proactively with a forwardthinking attitude bringing excellent organisation skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Acting as the PA representative in the PA community, building your network with other PACs and Marketing Coordinators, learning from best practices
  • Paying attention to detail, and having a big picture perspective at the same time
  • Planning and coordinating regional and global meetings with precision and attention to detail
  • Solving problems with a forwardthinking mindset and suggesting workarounds
  • Developing judgement, starting to contribute beyond the PA, thinking analytically through alternatives
  • Dealing with ambiguity and multitasking as the PA builds
  • Helping others navigate the practice network and make relevant connections

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS):

  • 24+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated independence and autonomy in internal/external interactions
  • Ability to execute defined tasks that require independent judgment, based on processes/policies
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think analytically, adopting out the box thinking
  • Professional, service oriented, proactive and flexible attitude
  • Ability to perform under pressure and demonstrate presence and maturity even in stressful situations
  • Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

YOU'LL WORK WITH:

Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively.

We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Practice Area Management & Operations team members keep BCG's industry and functional practice areas operating responsively and efficiently.

As a member of this team, you will contribute directly to the success of our business through a number of roles, including content development, process management, marketing, meeting and conference management, and internal/external communications.
