Description
Our client, a major global organisation, urgently require an experienced Design Engineer to undertake a long term contract.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

  • Experienced Design Engineer, with experienced gained within Automotive
  • Strong CAD (ideally NX) and Excel skills

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Conduct design work on products from design, through to production
  • Design body parts for new vehicle projects
  • Design for Metal press part, plastic/fabric trim parts, mechanical parts
  • Ensure design work meets customer requirements
  • Manage supplier relationships
  • Liaise with internal departments on a daily basis
  • Prepare drawings and have reviewed by line managers
