Description

Build Engineer (Open to Graduate Applications too)

Permanent Role:
Paying a base salary of £25K.

5-days a week onsite in Portsmouth.


Client:
Managed Services Provider

Role Objective


Supporting customers End User Services environment by providing proactive and reactive onsite and remote technical resolutions to Admin and Retail related incidents and requests Impacting numerous client sites and head-office locations.

Adhoc project relatedactivity to support initiatives will also be provided. When required technical support given will be given to full customer base.

Main Responsibilities

Machine Builds

  • Assess faulty client devices and carry out repairs.
  • Follow documented processes to ensure machines are built.
  • Escalate to Build Team Lead and Service Operations Manager any issues.
Logistics

  • Securely pack all laptops, desktops, and peripherals to support requests.
  • Accurately label packages to enduser's home addresses.
Stock Management

  • Complete accurate stock counts on a weekly basis.
  • Complete accurate audits of BAU kit.
ServiceNow Management

  • Update ServiceNow tickets with accurate information.
  • Managing ServiceNow incidents and requests that are assigned.
  • Resolve incidents and requests within agreed SLA's.

Qualifications:


  • Experience or Ambition to provide End-User IT Support.
  • Technical trouble shooting knowhow.
  • Ability to build physical and virtual machines.
  • Ability to build and deploy Windows 10 machines.
- (Desired) Experience with ServiceNow or ITSM tools.
- (Desired) Experience supporting technologies such as Windows 10, O365, Active Directory, and SCCM.
