An overview of the role is given below. You'd be based in London, reporting directly to the CFO and would receive instructions from the CEO. Salary is £80k per annum plus benefits.

Metals derivatives trading, which consist of hedging physical production portfolio to manage risks and undertaking derivatives trades for metals as part of the value-add function of the commodities financial trading function of the business.

Tasks

  • Compliance with risk management framework for financial trades in conjunction with
- physical production

  • Undertaking financial trades
  • Monitoring markets and aligning risks/portfolio
  • Managing counter parties for the LME trades
  • Models for real time trading quants including P&L, Vols, Theta, Gemma across futures and options
  • Modular interface of the historic financial trading data with forward looking scenarios
  • Innovations and creativity of ideas to optimize earnings with balanced risks
