Description

The opportunity:

This is an entry-level position in software development. Responsible for learning the basics of software engineering, such as coding, testing, and debugging. May also be involved in smaller projects or tasks, such as writing documentation or fixing bugs.


The benefits:


  • Salary £30,000
  • Bonus scheme on target bonus of 7.5%

Key Accountabilities:


  • Understanding and translating user requirements into technical specifications
  • Implementing software solutions
  • Writing and testing code
  • Debugging and fixing software defects
  • Maintaining and updating software
  • Working with other developers, testers, and stakeholders

What will you need to succeed?:

Qualifications/Experience

  • 12 months industry experience learning on the job Or
  • Relevant CS degree or equivalent Or
  • Successful completion of a code school or bootcamp

Knowledge:


  • A basic understanding of software development.

Skills and Competencies:


  • Problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to analyse and understand data.
